Try This Green Goddess Smoothie For A Healthy Glow

You’ve heard of the Green Goddess Salad, now let’s take it a step further.

Health trends come and go but when you can make something that’s delicious and also good for you, it tends to stick around. The Green Goddess salad has been around for a while but came back into fashion as a viral trend on TikTok and has gained huge popularity around the world. The traditional version of the salad uses heavy and sour cream but the updated healthier version subs in nuts to add the creaminess.

The Green Goddess Smoothie follows the basic outline of the salad with healthy leafy greens, vegetables and fruits to ensure you’re getting all the nutrition without sacrificing flavour. All the sweetness comes from the fruits but if you feel like you need an extra dash of sugar, try adding in a tablespoon of agave or honey. With handfuls of spinach and kale, you get a big dose of iron and fibre plus a powerful dose of vitamins A, C, and K, calcium, and fibre.

Juices may seem like an equivalent choice to smoothies but in fact, smoothies have the edge because they retain a lot more of the pulp, fibre and consequently the nutrition that is often filtered out of a juice. If you want to make it even healthy, consider supplements such as protein powder, spirulina, or powdered vitamins to curate the experience to your needs.

If you’re all set to get clean and go green, here is a recipe that will have you glowing from the inside out.
