The scenario is that a global pandemic will strike in 2012 with a very virulent and deadly type of virus.Even the countries best prepared for a pandemic were quickly overwhelmed as the virus swept across the globe, infecting nearly 20 percent of the global population, and killing 8 million people in just seven months, the majority of whom were healthy young adults.The pandemic is also having a deadly effect on the economy: international mobility of both people and goods is screaming, stopping industries that are undermining tourism and destroying global supply chains.The US fact-checking organization Snopes has also explained that the document provides a hypothetical view of future events to imagine problems that might arise.This document also explores how the global population might react during a pandemic, not plans for manual operations to create a new type of virus.Based on Tempo's fact check, the claim that the Rockefeller Foundation was behind the emergence of the Corona virus that causes Covid-19, SARS-CoV-2, is false.The document that is claimed to be evidence of the claim, namely the "Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development" document, is not an operating document to plan the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
