With so many protein powders on the market, it can be hard to differentiate. But I really do think Amazing Grass Protein Superfood may have one-upped the competition.

I’ve been a fan of Amazing Grass ever since they first released their Green Superfood. Almost all of their products have continued to revolve around that original blend of greens, fruits and vegetables. Some I’ve really liked, some not as much, but the Amazing Grass Protein Superfood may be a new favorite.

This “all-in-one protein nutrition shake” packs 2 FULL servings of fruits and vegetables into each scoop. It’s made with a creamy blend of plant-based protein powders and real food. Those vitamins and minerals shown below are from food, not fortification!

I’ve never liked protein powders straight up in water. But I always give it a little taste test in water (yep, not a fan), and then in my basic test smoothie – 1/2 serving protein powder, 1 medium frozen banana, and just enough unsweetened milk beverage. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Superfood was DELICIOUS. I could have added more than a half serving without negatively affecting the flavor. The consistency was also creamy, thick, and smooth, just the way I like it. The flavor was just cocoa-y and peanut buttery enough, but I wouldn’t argue if they upped the peanut flavor even more. I might try the peanut butter next. For me, the only drawback was the amount of stevia. It wasn’t overwhelming in my smoothie, but I did note it in the aftertaste.

Is this safe for kids, too?

I couldn’t advise on what is safe or appropriate nutritionally for kids, but Amazing Grass does have a Kidz Superfood line -> https://www.godairyfree.org/product-reviews/amazing-grass-kidz-superfood

I need to try this out! Love the nutrients/ingredients it has!

I will have to keep my eyes open for this protein next time I’m shopping. There are so many proteins out there and it can be so hard to find a good one. I also can usually only do half a serving too – it makes smoothies way too filling!!

Yep, too filling and a little too “protein powder” in taste for my liking. 🙂

I LOVE amazing grass products SO much! 🙂 <3

You and me both Laura!

Wow, 2 servings of fruits and vegetables and 20 grams of protein in each serving is great! Amazing Grass Protein Superfood lives up to its name! I need to try this out!

Seriously! And I love the ingredients they use.

I’ve never tried a pea protein but have heard a lot about them. This one looks like a good option, especially since it has so many fruits and veggies mixed in!

They’re much smoother and creamier than the other dairy-free options out there – from what I’ve heard, they’re even creamier than whey!
